  • The Board on 11/18/09 authorized the general manager to execute a contract with Karl Needham Enterprises, which submitted the lowest, responsive, responsible bid, in an amount not to exceed $1.98 million plus a 10 percent contingency. 

 

Del Valle Water Treatment Plant Electrical Power System Upgrade Project (Proj. #193-09) 

  • The Board on 10/21/09 authorized the general manager to execute a contract with DM Jepsen Electric, which submitted the lowest responsive, responsible bid of six received, in amount of $416,798.

 

Large Landscape Audit Support Services

  • Following a request for proposals process, the Zone 7 Board on 6/17/09 authorized a contract with SpotWater Management in a not-to-exceed amount of $94,000. 

 

Electrical Services for Water Supply Facilities Project

  • The Board on 6/17/09 authorized the General Manager to execute a contract with Harris Electric, the lowest responsive responsible bidder, in an amount not to exceed $176,890.50. 

 

Excavating & Hauling Services for Water Supply Facilities Project

  • The Board on 6/17/09 authorized the General Manager to execute a contract with California Landscape Dimensions, the lowest responsive responsible bidder, for the amount not to exceed $253,921; and to execute change orders up to 10 percent of the contract amount if needed.

 

Maintenance & Emergency Work for Water Supply Facilities Project

  • The Board on 5/20/09 awarded the contract too the lowest responsive responsible bidder, Redgwick Construction Co., in an amount not to exceed $436,618.

 

Emergency Generator Preventative Maintenance & Repair Services

  • The Board on 4/15/09 awarded the contract to the lowest responsive responsible bidder, California Generator Service, in the amount of $59,190.

  • A contract was awarded to Bel Air Mechanical Inc., the lowest responsive responsible bidder, in the amount of $21,395.

  • Awards were made to two separate vendors:
    • Ford F-150 XLT Supercab Truck - Albany Ford, which submitted the lowest bid of seven received, at $21,248.40
    • Two Ford Escape Hybrids - Livermore Auto Group, which submitted the lowest bid of eight received (after factoring in 5 percent local preference), at $56,500

  • Award was made to:
    • Chevy Malibu Hybrid - F.H. Daily, which submitted the lowest bid of two received, at $24,548

Electrical Services for Water Supply Facilities

  • The Board on 6/18/08 awarded the contract to All  Bay Electric, the lowest responsive responsible bidder, for a bid amount of 169,293.50.

 

Altamont Pipeline Project, Livermore Reach

  • Following a competitive bidding process, the Board on 4/16/08 awarded the construction contract to Ranger Pipelines Inc. for $22.8 million. The Board also authorized support services agreements with Harris and Associates for construction management, CH2M Hill for construction engineering support, ICF Jones & Stokes for public outreach and environmental services and Consolidated Engineering Lab for materials testing and specialty inspections.
