Boy Scouts Troop 924 Helps Recycle Old Toilets!!!

WHEN: On the second and fourth Saturdays of each month (except in November and December, when it's the first and third Saturdays. HOURS: 8 a.m. to noon.

WHERE: Livermore Water Reclamation Plant, 100 W. Jack London Blvd., Livermore.

NOTE: Toilets must be cleaned and all hardware must be removed or an extra charge will be added.

Recycle your old, unwanted toilet by dropping it off at the Livermore Water Reclamation Plant and help Boy Scouts Troop 924 raise money. Currently, a $4 fee is charged for each recycled toilet. The Boy Scouts will charge $6 if the toilet still has the plumbing parts inside the tank. The fee benefits the Boy Scouts. The Scouts will give you proof of recycling validation. Zone 7 and Pacific Gas and Electric Company together are offering a streamlined rebate process to customers who buy high-efficiency clothes washers. Earn a combined rebate of up to $175 for your purchase of a qualified water- and energy-efficient washer.
